What is an EICR?

An EICR checks the safety of a property's existing electrical installation against current wiring regulations, and is a legal requirement for landlords in England at least every five years. It's good practice for homeowners and commercial premises too, and something our engineers carry out and certify directly.

What is an EICR and how often do I need one?

An Electrical Installation Condition Report checks the safety of your existing wiring against current regulations. Landlords in England must have one carried out at least every five years; we’d generally recommend the same interval for homeowners and commercial premises.
